The Hope of Love to Come!

My thoughts burn,
I know not what brews trouble in this humble heart!

Be it my way to break words and pen them down,
And perchance weave them into meaning,
As I peer into my heart and seek what it holds,
In a bid to clear a troubled mind.

I stand more animal than man,
A monster robbed of heart and given breathe by necessity,
A villain less a heart.

A scary thought my words put forth, yet the truth.

The sum of my loss in the quest of seeking the warmth of the enticing creatures is no small thing,
Mine have been cold affairs,
Time and again this heart has been torn from its chest and cast to the rocks below,
Stricken from thought in many a times, have been served,
Whilst have struggled to serve similar fate from mine with unfavorable results.

The memories still linger,
There was a time when love bound hearts,
Then were the times when love was bright as the new day sun,
But those days turned into nights casting golden memories to shadow.

Little remains to be salvaged from me in this subject called love.

I have heard thoughts on the same, but my own yet to be claimed,
With days I have craved for clamor,
And would raise voice even if just once more.

Set to path with the hope of love to come, if gods bless such union.

Am yet to claim in full terms that I have bloomed fairer company,
Chance bears upon me to rise in favorable eyes again,
An opportunity I gladly seize,
To bask in the light the man of my worth deserves,
For I have set eyes upon a lady.

She and I are not yet a fist but fingers twitching absent a single purpose,
Still an empty hand can yet become a fist,
Words of significant worth that give me solace,
She is a lady presented by gods.

An effort I advanced,
I gave voice to desire and she granted me consideration.

Her smile stirs up the little life left in me,
I marvel at her grace and beauty,
I find solace in her and her company is treasured,
Her touch guides me home, setting me free from the prison of time.

Hope impregnates my spirit,
To feel such hope and such joy blooming inside is the rarest of all flowers regardless of why it blooms,
However, the hope of love to come is a danger in its own right, so I reckon!
